Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Openwood collects when you visit or buy from openwood.pk, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the order, delivery and support services we run alongside it.

Who we are

Openwood is a wooden furniture brand operating from Bhawalnagar Road, Near Vital Petrol Pump, Haroonabad, Punjab, Pakistan. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@openwood.pk or on 0301 111 8855.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

Account information. If you check out as a guest we may create a customer account for you from your billing email so you can track your orders. You can sign in with your email address or your registered phone number, or by using Google or Facebook. When you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your name and email address from them — never your password.

Order information. We keep a record of what you bought, the options you configured, the price paid, your chosen payment method and the delivery status of your order.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites we automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site or advertisement that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described below.

Payment information. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and bank transfers are made directly to our account by you.

How we use your information

To process, manufacture, pack and deliver your order.
To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and delivery updates by email and WhatsApp.
To provide customer support and handle replacement or warranty requests.
To operate your customer account and let you track your shipments.
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of our website.
To understand how our website is used so that we can improve it.
To measure and improve our advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential functions — keeping items in your cart, keeping you signed in, and securing checkout. The site cannot work without these.

Google Analytics and Google Site Kit — website traffic and usage measurement.
Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and Google Shopping — listing our products and measuring advertising performance.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API — measuring and improving our advertising. The Conversions API may send hashed order and contact details to Meta so that a purchase can be matched to an advertisement.
TikTok — advertising measurement.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to run our business:

Delivery partners. We share your name, delivery address and phone number with M&P Express Logistics and other couriers so that your order can be delivered and tracked.
Payment providers. Card payments are processed by our payment gateway, which receives the information it needs to take the payment.
WhatsApp (Meta). If you receive order notifications from us on WhatsApp, your phone number and order reference are processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform.
Email delivery. Our transactional emails are sent through our email provider and our hosting company’s mail servers.
Hosting and infrastructure. Our website and database are hosted by Hostinger.
Marketplaces. If you order from us through a marketplace such as Daraz, we receive your order and delivery details from that marketplace in order to fulfil it.
Legal. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

How long we keep your information

We keep order and invoice records for as long as necessary to fulfil the order, honour the warranty period, and meet our accounting and legal obligations. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant provider.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
Delete your account and associated personal information, where we are not required to keep it.
Stop sending you marketing messages. You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email.

You can update your name, address and contact details at any time from your account area. To make any other request, email support@openwood.pk from the address on your account and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Please note that we cannot delete information we are required to retain, such as completed order and tax records.

Security

Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to customer data in our administration area is restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Children

Our website is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change takes effect when it is posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. Please review it periodically.
